Supplementary debts to the Social Security Treasury

The Social Security Treasury informs that in February, in addition to the contributions for the period for which payment is due, additional debits will be charged for the amount of differences resulting from the updating of settlements for previous periods, recalculated as a result of changes in affiliation data or contribution conditions.

Most of these additional debits may be due to the following reasons:

Update of AT/EP and cessation rates for 2020 for self-employed workers (the differences corresponding to the periods from January to August 2020 will be debited in successive months from February 2021).
Revision of the rebates applied in cases of childbirth and childcare benefits enjoyed by part-time self-employed workers (if the difference affects several periods, the debits will be issued in successive months from February 2021).
